DESCRIPTION:This fault code sets when the engine speed is above 2500 rpm. MONITORED PARAMETER:Engine speed TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Engine speed greater than idle. MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous when enabling conditions met. TYPICAL DURATION:Two seconds DASH LAMPS:MIL ENGINE REACTION:Engine brakes are activated. VERIFICATION:Start and run the engine. POSSIBLE CAUSES:1. Vehicle was driven downhill in too low of a gear or without using the engine brakes.2. Crankshaft speed sensor fault.3. External combustible fluids drawn into the air intake.
