DESCRIPTION:This fault may occur if remote accelerator pedal programmed on and remote circuit is shorted to power while pin 8 of the common powertrain controller (CPC) connector #2 is grounded. MONITORED PARAMETER:Remote throttle sensor. TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Always enabled MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Always enabled TYPICAL DURATION:Two seconds DASH LAMPS:CEL ENGINE REACTION:None VERIFICATION:1. Key on.2. Engine on with remote pedal activated. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Drain the fuel filter module by removing the fuel filters or opening the drain valve. Hand tighten the drain plug and prime the fuel filter with the hand pump. If code doesn’t come back, problem solved.2. Reset the water...
