DESCRIPTION:Fuel rail pressure sensor circuit failed high. MONITORED PARAMETER:Fuel rail pressure sensor. TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Always enabled MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Always enabled TYPICAL DURATION:2 seconds DASH LAMPS:1. MIL2. CEL ENGINE REACTION:Derate 25% VERIFICATION:Engine Idle: One minute. NOTE: If codes for both the intake manifold pressure/temp sensor are active at the same time, repair the circuit between pins 58 or 102 of the engine ECM 102-pin connector and pin 2 or pin 4 of the intake manifold pressure/temperature sensor. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Fuel rail pressure sensor connector/harness.2. Fuel rail pressure sensor.3. Intake manifold pressure/temp sensor.4. Intake manifold pressure/temp sensor harness/connector.

DESCRIPTION:Optimized idle safety loop faulted. MONITORED PARAMETER:Optimized idle safety loop (parking brake, hood tilt switch, neutral safety switch and vehicle speed). TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Fault is set active is a maximum number of vehicle speed sensor pulses during and optimized idle engine start is exceeded or the vehicle speed is above 0.25 km/h or the engine torque is above a calibrated threshold for 2 seconds.
