Detroit DD13 EPA07 (2007-09) Fault Code: SPN 132 FMI 1 (MCM) Air Mass Flow Too Low
Posted by PerDiezel Solutions on
NOTE: Please see the step by step troubleshooting procedures for this specific code. NOTE: If any other codes are present, repair them first. Otherwise, check the following for restrictions/failures:1. Plugged inlet air filters.2. Charge air cooler leaks.3. Intake manifold leaks.4. Exhaust system leaks.
Detroit DD13 EPA07 (2007-09) Fault Code: SPN 157 FMI 1 (MCM) Fault of the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor, Wiring, or Quantity Control Valve
Posted by PerDiezel Solutions on
NOTE: The motor control module (MCM) monitors the fuel rail pressure and when fuel rail pressure deviation in 200 bar higher than the requested fuel rail pressure for eight seconds, the MCM sets the code. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Faulty fuel rail pressure sensor.2. Faulty QCV.3. Faulty MCM.4. Faulty wiring.
Detroit DD13 EPA07 (2007-09) Fault Code: SPN 157 FMI 16 (MCM) Fuel Rail Pressure Too Low
Posted by PerDiezel Solutions on
DESCRIPTION:Fuel rail pressure too low. MONITORED PARAMETER:Injector cylinder #1 needle control valve. TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Fuel rail pressure desired – fuel rail pressure actual > 200 bar. MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous when enabling conditions met. TYPICAL DURATION:Eight seconds DASH LAMPS:1. MIL2. CEL ENGINE REACTION:Derate 25% VERIFICATION:Engine Idle: One minute. NOTE: The motor control module (MCM) monitors the rail pressure and when rail pressure deviation is greater than 200 bar for eight seconds, the MCM sets the code. POSSIBLE CAUSES:1. External fuel leakage between the high pressure pump and fuel injectors.2. Pressure limiting valve leakage (Internal).3. Fuel filter integrity (Loose caps, plugged...
