NOTE: Please see the step by step troubleshooting procedures for this specific code. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Drain the fuel filter module by removing the fuel filters or opening the drain valve. Hand tighten the drain plug and prime the fuel filter with the hand pump. If code doesn’t come back, problem solved.2. Reset the water in fuel indicator.3. Failed water in fuel sensor.

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Always enabled MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous TYPICAL DURATION:.02 msec DASH LAMPS:1. MIL2. CEL ENGINE REACTION:1. Derate 25%.2. EGR Valve shut.3. DPF Inhibit Regeneration. VERIFICATION:Engine Idle: One minute. NOTE: If code 168-xx or 723-xx present, fix those first. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Front fuel injector harness connection (14-pins).2.
