DESCRIPTION:Injector cylinder #6 amplifier control valve abnormal operation (open). MONITORED PARAMETER:Injector cylinder #6 amplifier control valve. TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Fis_nop_act greater than 1.85. MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous when enabling conditions met. TYPICAL DURATION:Two seconds DASH LAMPS:1. MIL2. CEL ENGINE REACTION:Derate 25% VERIFICATION:Engine rpm 1400 – 1500: One minute. NOTE: If codes 168-xx or 723-xx active, fix those first. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Inspect front fuel injector harness 14-pin connector.2. Front injector harness failure.3. Failed injector.4. Engine side harness failure.5. Failed MCM (Engine ECM).
