DESCRIPTION:Exhaust temperature high. MONITORED PARAMETER:Exhaust temperature TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Always on MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous when enabling conditions met. TYPICAL DURATION:Two seconds DASH LAMPS:MIL ENGINE REACTION:None VERIFICATION:Parked regeneration NOTE: If any other codes active, fix those first. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Inspect the DOC outlet temperature sensor connector/harness.2. Check connections upstream of the ECM (ATD harness 10-pin connector, VIH 31-pin connector, and MCM 120-pin connector).3. DOC outlet temperature sensor.4. Failed cylinder injector.5. Inspect the DPF face for oil or coolant contamination – if present, find source.6. Perform a parked regen.

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Coolant temperature greater than 60°C (140°F), regen not active in last five minutes. MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous when enabling conditions met.
