NOTE: The powertrain controller (CPC) digital outputs have the same SPN as some motor control (MCM) faults. NOTE: Please see the step by step troubleshooting procedures for this specific code. NOTE: Short to power on the pin 02 circuit of the CPC4 #4 connector or improper programming in the ECM.

DESCRIPTION:This fault code sets when the difference between the actual EGR flow and the commanded EGR flow is higher than a calibrated threshold. MONITORED PARAMETER:EGR Mass Flow MONITORED PARAMETER:EGR Flow TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:1. CAC greater than 0°C (32°F).2. Engine Speed 1080 to 2500 rpm.3. NOTE: High load operation in high ambient temperatures. No action is necessary; this is a “silent” fault where the fan will be turned on. NOTE: This fault is a concern only if the fan-on times are excessive but coolant temperatures are in the normal operating range. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. If 110-0 is active, repair this first.2. Check for EGR exhaust leaks at the EGR valve actuator.3. Remove the actuator cooler lines and fittings, check for kinks/plugs or leaks.4. EGR valve actuator failure.
