DESCRIPTION:
This fault code sets when the different between the actual EGR flow and the commanded EGR flow is lower than a calibrated threshold.

MONITORED PARAMETER:
EGR mass flow

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
1. Desired EGR mass flow greater than .08.
2. EGR in closed loop control.
3. CAC outlet temperature greater than 0°C (32°F).
4. Engine speed 1080 to 2500 rpm.
5. Engine torque 200 to 2500 N·m (148 to 1844 lb·ft).
6. Coolant temperature greater than 65°C (149°F).
7. Ambient temperature greater than -8°C (18°F) ambient.
8. Barometric pressure greater than 755 mbar (11 psi).

MONITOR SEQUENCE:
None

Always enabled

VERIFICATION:
1. Start engine.
2. Warm up so that coolant temperature is greater than 65°C (149°F).
3. Ensure ambient temperature greater than -8°C (18°F).
4. Ambient barometric pressure greater than 755 mbar (11 psi).

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. EGR delta p sensor.
2. EGR delta p harness/connector.
3. EGR delta p sensor port.
4. EGR valve.
