PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Drain the fuel filter module by removing the fuel filters or opening the drain valve. Hand tighten the drain plug and prime the fuel filter with the hand pump. If code doesn’t come back, problem solved.2. Reset the water in fuel indicator.3. Failed water in fuel sensor.4. Water in fuel sensor connector/harness.

NOTE: Water-in-Fuel (WIF) sensor circuitry differs for engines equipped with three-filter fuel systems and those equipped with two filter fuel systems. There are also slight differences between two filter fuel systems, KM63 GEN2 is the GHG14 variant and KM59 GEN1 is EPA10 variant. Differences are noted as required. NOTE: Please see the step by step troubleshooting procedures for this specific code. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. WIF Sensor Connector/Harness.2. WIF Sensor.
