NOTE: If codes for other modules are present, fix those first. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Improper programming of the CPC (Common Powertrain Controller).2. Other failed modules on the truck (Transmission, ABS, Cab controller, etc…).3. Battery/battery cable issues, or electrical issue on truck.

NOTE: The CPC digital outputs have the same SPN as some motor control module (MCM) faults. The diagnostic service tool 7X makes the distinction between the MCM and CPC when diagnosing a fault. NOTE: If engine is programmed correctly, failure is a short to ground on pin 9 of the CPC4 connector.
