Detroit DD13 EPA07 (2007-09) Fault Code: SPN 602 FMI 19 (CPC) J1939 Cruise Control Acceleration Switch Signal from Source #1, #2, or #3 is Erratic
Posted by PerDiezel Solutions on
DESCRIPTION:This fault code sets when the motor control module (MCM) detects that there is EGR pressure when the engine is not running. MONITORED PARAMETER:EGR delta pressure. TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Coolant temperature greater than 80°C (176°F) and ignition is cycled off for 10 seconds. MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous when enabling conditions met. TYPICAL DURATION:15 seconds DASH LAMPS:1. MIL2. CEL ENGINE REACTION:Derate 25% VERIFICATION:1. Run the engine until the coolant temperature is greater than 80°C (176°F).2. Turn the ignition off for 15 seconds.3. Turn the ignition on as a recheck for the fault code. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. EGR delta p sensor failure.2. EGR delta...

Detroit DD13 EPA07 (2007-09) Fault Code: SPN 609 FMI 12 (MCM) Motor Control Module Failed or Programmed Incorrectly
Posted by PerDiezel Solutions on
NOTE: Please see the step by step troubleshooting procedures for this specific code. NOTE: If not active after resetting parameters, clear code and release truck. If active, you have a parameter programmed incorrectly in the ECM.

Detroit DD13 EPA07 (2007-09) Fault Code: SPN 615 FMI 14 (MCM) Internal or External Leakage of the High Pressure Fuel System
Posted by PerDiezel Solutions on
NOTE: The motor control module (MCM) monitors the rail pressure and when a leakage rate is greater than 150 1/h, the MCM sets the code. There is no fault reaction (limp home mode) associated to this code. POSSIBLE CAUSES:1. External fuel leakage between the high pressure pump and fuel injectors.2. High pressure pump (pumping elements).3. Fuel injector (amplifier or needle) leakage.4. Pressure limiting valve leakage (internal). NOTE: The MCM monitors the rail pressure and when a leakage rate is greater than 150 l/h this code is set. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. External fuel leakage between the high pressure pump and fuel injectors.2....
