DESCRIPTION:This fault code sets when there is an open in the voltage supply circuit, an open or short to ground on the signal return circuit. MONITORED PARAMETER:EGR delta pressure sensor return signal. TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Always enabled MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Always enabled TYPICAL DURATION:2 seconds DASH LAMPS:1. MIL2. CEL ENGINE REACTION:Derate 25% VERIFICATION:Engine Idle: One minute. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. EGR delta p sensor failure.2. EGR delta p connector/harness.3. EGR delta p pressure ports blocked.4. EGR valve failure.5. Inspect the EGR crossover tube and mixer pipe for excessive buildup. If excessive, replaced the EGR cooler.6. Inspect EGR system for leaks/damage/issues.

DESCRIPTION:This code sets when the MCM detects that there is a short to power on the circuits for the injector amplifier control valve on cylinders 1, 2 and/or 3. MONITORED PARAMETER:Injector amplifier control valve cylinder 1, 2, 3. TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Fuel injector system nozzle opening pressure reading greater than 1.85. MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous when enabling conditions met. TYPICAL DURATION:Two seconds DASH LAMPS:1. MIL2. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Short to power between pin 1 of the rear fuel injector harness 14-pin connector and pin 4 of the 120-pin ECM connection.2. Short to power between pin 8 of the rear fuel injector harness 14-pin connector and pin 8 of the 120-pin ECM connection.3.
