DESCRIPTION:This fault code sets when there is an open in the voltage supply circuit, an open or short to ground on the signal return circuit. MONITORED PARAMETER:EGR delta pressure sensor return signal. TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Always enabled MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Always enabled TYPICAL DURATION:2 seconds DASH LAMPS:1. MIL2. CEL ENGINE REACTION:Derate 25% VERIFICATION:Engine Idle: One minute. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. EGR delta p sensor failure.2. EGR delta p connector/harness.3. EGR delta p pressure ports blocked.4. EGR valve failure.5. Inspect the EGR crossover tube and mixer pipe for excessive buildup. If excessive, replaced the EGR cooler.6. Inspect EGR system for leaks/damage/issues.
