NOTE: This fault indicates that the motor control module (MCM) detects a short to power (voltage greater than 3.2. on any of the MCM pins). PROBABLE CAUSES:Short to power on one of the following from the main 120-pin ECM connector:1. Pin 55 – Fuel temp sensor, engine coolant temp sensor.2. Pin 77 – Fuel temp sensor.3. Pin 102 – Charge air cooler outlet pressure sensor.4. Pin 108 – Engine oil temperature/pressure sensor.5. Pin 110 – Engine coolant temperature sensor.

NOTE: If codes 4077-0 or 3480-1 active, fix those first. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Inspect entire exhaust system for leaks.2. Inspect all 3 temperature sensors on the DPF/DOC system.3. Inspect fuel line from doser block assy to the doser injection valve for kinks.4. Remove the doser injection valve and coolant block from turbo outlet and inspect for carbon buildup. If present, replace the doser injector valve.5. Clean the doser fuel lines.6. Perform stationary regen.7. Replace the HC doser block assy.

DESCRIPTION:This fault code sets when the intake manifold pressure is lower than expected while the engine is under a load. MONITORED PARAMETER:Intake manifold pressure. TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Engine coolant temperature greater than 65°C (149°F). MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous when enabling conditions met. TYPICAL DURATION:15 seconds DASH LAMPS:1. MIL2. CEL ENGINE REACTION:None VERIFICATION:1. Engine coolant greater than 65°C (149°F).2. Drive at steady highway speed with loaded trailer.3. Engine rpm greater than 1130 for a minimum of five minutes. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Failed inlet manifold pressure sensor.2. Inlet manifold pressure sensor connector/harness.3. Charge air cooler failure.
