NOTE: If 3242-3, 3242-4, 3242-8, 3250-3, 3250-4, or 3250-8 present, fix those first. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Compare DOC inlet, DOC outlet, and DPF outlet. They should be within 45 degrees of each other.2. DOC inlet temperature sensor.3. DOC inlet temperature sensor connector/harness.4. DOC outlet temperature sensor.5. DESCRIPTION:This code sets when the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) outlet temperature is greater than 760°C (1400°F) for more that two seconds. MONITORED PARAMETER:Diesel particulate filter outlet temperature sensor. TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Always on MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous when enabling conditions are met. TYPICAL DURATION:Two seconds DASH LAMPS:1. CEL2. MIL ENGINE REACTION:25% Derate VERIFICATION:Parked regeneration NOTE: If any other codes are active fix those first. PROBABLE CAUSES:1.
