DESCRIPTION:This fault code sets when actual EGR flow vs. desired EGR flow is greater than a calibrated threshold while the engine rpm is between 600 and 900 rpm. MONITORED PARAMETER:1. EGR delta P sensor.2. Intake manifold pressure sensor. TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Low engine to high engine load. MONITOR SEQUENCE:1. One second after acceleration load.2. MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous when enabling conditions met. TYPICAL DURATION:Two seconds DASH LAMPS:MIL ENGINE REACTION:None NOTE: If any other EGR codes are active, fix those first. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Inspect the entire air inlet system, charge air cooler, and EGR piping/hoses.2. Check for failed injector.3. Check the aftertreatment system for leaks/damage.4. Perform a high idle regeneration.
