Cummins ISB CM850 (2003-06) Fault Code: 2385 (ISC) PID: SID 27 SPN: 641 FMI: 3 VGT Actuator – Voltage Above Normal or Shorted to High Source. Open circuit or high voltage detected at turbocharger control valve circuit.

Turbocharger control valve command can be monitored with the INSITE? electronic service tool. This parameter represents the ECM command to the turbocharger control valve, which in turn controls the variable geometry actuator position.

Possible causes:

1)Open circuit in the engine harness or connectors
2)Open circuit in the turbocharger control valve
3)Signal circuit short to voltage source in the engine harness.

Possible repairs:

1)Replace the turbocharger control valve.
2)The removal and installation of the connector may correct the fault.
3)Replace the ECM.
4)Repair or replace the engine harness.
