Cummins ISB CM850 (2003-06) Fault Code: 2359 PID: 411 SPN: 411 FMI: 0 Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Differential Pressure Sensor – Data Valid but Above Normal Operating Range – Moderately Severe Level. EGR differential pressure sensor failed automatic calibration procedure or EGR differential pressure reading not valid for engine operating conditions.

Possible causes:

1)A malfunctioning EGR differential pressure sensor
2)A plugged or leaking low or high EGR differential pressure drilling
3)A stuck open or closed EGR valve
4)A damaged EGR connection tube hose
5)A leak in the EGR connection tube hoses or tubes
6)A damaged variable geometry turbocharger
7)A damaged variable geometry actuator.

Note: If Fault Code 2359 is active after a key-cycle and the engine is not operating, it will be set inactive only if the following conditions are met:

1)Engine coolant temperature is greater than 67?C [154?F]
2)Intake manifold air temperature is greater than 16?C [60?F]
3)Keyswitch transitions from ON to OFF
4)EGR differential pressure sensor reading is within a set calibration threshold near zero.

Possible repairs:

1)Replace the EGR differential pressure sensor.
2)Replace the air intake connection.
3)Repair or replace the suspect components.
4)Repair or replace the suspect component.

Cummins ISB CM850 (2003-06) Fault Code: 2357 PID: SID 146 SPN: 2791 FMI: 7 Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Control – Mechanical System Not Responding Properly or Out of Adjustment. EGR valve motor does not respond or is slow to respond.

Cummins ISB CM850 (2003-06) Fault Code: 2353 PID: SID 146 SPN: 2971 FMI: 6 Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve control circuit – current above normal or grounded circuit. Excess current detected at the EGR valve motor output circuit.

Cummins ISB CM850 (2003-06) Fault Code: 2352 PID: SID 146 SPN: 2791 FMI: 3 EGR Valve Control Circuit – Voltage Above Normal or Shorted to High Source. High voltage detected at the EGR valve motor circuit.

Cummins ISB CM850 (2003-06) Fault Code: 2351 PID: SID 146 SPN: 2791 FMI: 4 EGR Valve Control Circuit – Voltage Below Normal or Shorted to Low Source. Low voltage detected at the EGR valve motor circuit.
