The ECM detects the following conditions:
•The actual boost pressure is higher than the desired boost pressure.
The engine may experience low power when the diagnostic code is active.
Probable Causes:
Determine the cause of the excessive boost pressure such as a wastegate for the turbocharger that has failed or a line for the wastegate that has been pinched.
