Allison WTEC II Fault Code: 69 PID: SPN: 36 FMI: ECU, RAM self test
Posted by PerDiezel Solutions on
Main code 69 indicates the ECU has malfunctioned. ECU, open driver, C solenoid circuit To assist in tracking ECU reliability, the subcode has been included to indicate the cause of the ECU malfunction. Most codes, except Code 69 34, can be cleared; but they will probably recur. Replacing the ECU corrects the problem. Allison WTEC II Fault Code: 69 PID: SPN: 35 FMI: ECU, EEPROM checksum test Allison WTEC II Fault Code: 69 PID: SPN: 34 FMI: ECU, EEPROM write timeout Allison WTEC II Fault Code: 69 PID: SPN: 33 FMI: ECU, Computer Operating Properly (COP) timeout Allison WTEC II...

Allison 3000 & 4000 Gen 4 Fault Code: C1312 Retarder Request Sensor Failed Low
Posted by PerDiezel Solutions on
DIAGNOSTIC RESPONSE:Inhibits retarder operation if not using J1939 datalink CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION:The TCM may be calibrated to receive a Retarder Modulation Request (RMR) signal from a retarder request sensor, sometimes called a resistance module or RMR device. NOTE: A TCM calibration with the retarder feature can be specified to:1. Only receive an analog RMR on W156.2. Only receive the RMR message on SAE J1939.3. Receive both an analog RMR signal and a SAE J1939 RMR message. The TCM is connected to the retarder request sensor by:1. A 5V reference voltage (W112),2. Retarder request signal (W156), and3. Analog ground (W158). The TCM...

Allison 3000 & 4000 Gen 4 Fault Code: P0122 Pedal Position Sensor Circuit Low Voltage

DIAGNOSTIC RESPONSE:Use default throttle values. Freezes shift adapts CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION:The TCM may be calibrated to receive an analog TPS pedal position signal from a TPS. Throttle position information comes from a resistive sensor. The resistive throttle sensor is attached to throttle linkage. This device produces a voltage proportional to throttle position. NOTE: Refer to Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Adjustment for the TPS adjustment procedure and signal voltage specifications. NOTE: The transmission TPS is not the same accelerator pedal sensor that the driver actuates to accelerate the vehicle. The transmission TPS is not used to fuel, accelerate, or decelerate the engine...
